What did you do last summer?

I think '' GREECE'' says it all.
Yes, last summer me and my sister were in Greece.
I was already living there for almost a year but, the adventure started when my sister arrived.
First thing that we did after her putting foot in Greece was going to the sea for a long swim. we found a really nice beach close to Athens, on the Aegean shore, and just could not say no.
It took us three day to visit the center of Athens. We visited the the Acropolis hill, the Olympic stadium, the museums, the arch of Hadrianand others. On the top of the Acropolis hill stands The Parthenon ,a temple  dedicated to the Greek goddess Athena, whom the people of Athens considered their patron. Its construction began in 447 BC and was completed in 438 BC, although decorations of the Parthenon continued until 432 BC. It is the most important surviving building of Classical Greece, generally considered to be the culmination of the development of the Doric order. Its decorative sculptures are considered some of the high points of Greek art.

In the night we took long walks and had the chance to admire Greece and all its beauty without hundredes of people around.
We aet the traditional Suvlaki and tasted the faimous tzatziki sos.

Our only regret was that the summer was so sort.
